The HTML button
()
on the toolbar toggles
the view between the
default chart and one that shows the data
in an HTML chart.
The HTML chart has more information than the default chart.
There are colored bands with labels. Click a colored band to expand it or collapse it. Examples.
In an expanded chart, you need to move your mouse pointer between cells with your mouse. Arrow keys and shortcuts are not available.
When you click a cell, the background color changes and the descriptive and distinctive features are highlighted. Then, when you hold your mouse pointer over other another cell, its descriptive and distinctive features are highlighted in a different color.
Project metadata appears above the HTML chart.
In the HTML chart, the code next to ISO 639-0 code is a hyperlink. If you have a connection to the Internet, it opens http://www.ethnologue.com/language/<your Ethnologue code>.
To return to the HTML chart, do one of the following:
Click
(Back (from Ethnologue)) on the toolbar.
Right-click the Ethnologue page and then click Back.
To go to the default chart, press F6.
If there is an active filter, the name of that filter appears below the Ethnologue code.
