After building a distribution chart, or modifying a loaded one from the Saved Charts list, you will want to fill the chart with results. Results are shown in the cells at the intersection between search item and search environment pattern pairs. The result value in a particular cell represents the number of matches found after doing a search using the pattern made from combining the search item in the first cell of the row, with the search environment in the first cell of the column.
To fill a chart with result values, click Fill
Chart on the toolbar.
The result cells fill with numbers.
A cell displays zero when no matches for the search pattern occur in the data.
A cell displays an error
icon
if the search pattern contains a syntax error.
A cell displays a red triangle at the upper right if the search pattern contains the following problems.
Undefined phonetic characters.
Phones that do not occur in the data sources of the open project.
