On the Word Lists tab of the Options dialog box, you can change the appearance of word lists. Phonology Assistant (PA) saves options separately for each project.
When you click OK, PA applies the options in the Column Display Options and Grid Lines areas to all existing word lists and all new word lists.
In the Column Display Options area, you can specify the columns to display and their order. Do any of the following:
To display all fields, select the Select All check box.
Select the check boxes of particular fields that you want to display.
Important: If a field you want to
display is not listed, use the Properties
button (Project Settings)
and modify the properties of the data source by adding
that field.
Clear the check boxes of particular fields that you do not want to display.
Click a field name, and
then click the Move up arrow .
Click a field name, and
then click the Move down arrow
.
In word lists, you can drag column headings to change their order, width, or height.
If you want those types of changes to columns in existing word lists to affect the defaults for columns when PA displays new word lists, first make sure to select any of the following check boxes in the Column Changes area.
Save arrangement of reordered columns as default order: The default column order is affected if you drag column headings left or right.
The column order in the Column Display Options area is also affected.
Save adjusted column widths as default widths: The default column width is affected if you drag the right edge of the column heading left or right.
Save adjusted column heading height as default height: The default heading height is affected if you drag the lower edge of a column heading up or down.
In the Grid Lines area, do one of the following:
To display lines only between columns, click Vertical Only.
To display lines only between rows, click Horizontal Only.
To display lines between rows and columns, click Both.
To display no lines between rows or columns, click None.
