To open this dialog box, click Transcription Changes on the Tools menu.
Here is an overview of why you might want to use this dialog box:
By default when a project data source is read, Phonology Assistant parses phonetic data into phones and displays those phones just as they were found in the source records.
However, there may be cases in which you would like Phonology Assistant to interpret one or a sequence of characters as something else. For example, you may want to experiment by converting ai to aj.
You can specify multiple "experimental transcriptions" for each source transcription, although, only one experimental transcription at a time may be applied to a source transcription.
You add, choose and remove experimental transcriptions in this dialog box.
