When you open a project, the Data Source Missing dialog box might appear.
The project refers to a data source that Phonology Assistant (PA) cannot find for any of the following reasons:
The data source file has been renamed.
The data source file has been moved to a different folder.
The data source file has been deleted.
Do one of the following:
If the data source file has been renamed or moved, click Choose New Location, and then specify the file name and location.
PA saves the new file name and location in the project.
If the data source file has been deleted, click Skip Loading.
After the project opens, you can do one of the following:
In the Project Settings dialog box, remove the data source.
Copy the missing file from your backups to the original location, close the project, and then start PA again.
If every data source file is missing and you click Skip Loading for every file, PA displays no data.
If you click Skip Loading, the dialog box will appear again when you open the project in the future, until you remove the data source or restore the missing file.
